Our complimentary design service takes into account the architectural nuances of your home, your lifestyle, and your budget. We'll help you create harmony between your furniture and the other features of your room or even the rest of your home.
We're proud to offer an experienced design team with nearly a century of combined expertise, while keeping an eye on the latest trends. Working closely with you as well as each other, our team collaborates frequently and informs each other of the newest ideas and industry trends. We utilize a “Customer Driven” approach that allows our team to focus on identifying the right solutions for your home furnishing, décor, and design needs. Whether you’re redoing a single room or designing your entire home, our designers will consult with you and then offer advice on space planning, accessorizing, colours, styles, sizes, and fabrics and leathers for any space.
To help you achieve your dream home, we offer two levels of design services that take into account the level of assistance you require.
A free in-store consultation is a great way to bring together all of the ideas that you’ve already been working on. Whether you have a good understanding of what you want or you’re looking to make some minor changes, we can help you through the process. An in-store consultation typically lasts about an hour and during this time, we can work through your ideas, co-ordinate colours, and select furniture and accessories to finalize your room. This in-store consultation is excellent option for someone that wants to make a change but needs assistance with some of the specifics. It’s easy to get started. Simply visit the store or read the short biographies of our design team on the website and contact the consultant you think would best match your style. Your design consultant will then schedule your in-store appointment.
If you’re planning a larger project and aren’t sure just where to begin, McElheran’s also provides an in-home consultation service. An in-home consultation is your best choice if you’re redesigning more than one room or aren’t sure how to define your style. Our consultants can visit your home to get a feel for your space, your lifestyle, and your vision. We’ll measure, space, plan, select colour etc. From there, the designer will return to McElheran’s and spend hours putting together specific recommendations for your home. You’ll then be invited to the store for a personalized presentation. This follow-up in-store meeting allows you to preview our recommendations and will help you to visualize your project.
