Merry Christmas

Each year the Homes for the Holidays Tour brings together local designers and decorators, community volunteers and retailers to decorate beautiful homes graciously loaned to the Junior League by local homeowners for this annual fundraiser. The decorated homes are opened to the public with the purchase of a ticket, giving tour participants a look at gorgeously decorated homes. This years tour featured 6 homes, all with different christmas themes.

The photographs below are from Home #2 on the tour. Furnishings were graciously donated by McElherans Fine Furniture, and the rooms were designed by Marie Hebson of interiorsBYDESIGN.

Marie’s inspiration for this Modern Boho Chic Christmas was from the colourful paint palette of the homeowners. Typically, you’d see a traditional red-green christmas scheme, but I wanted to cool down the warm tones of the home, and put the accent on the clients gorgeous mother-of-pearl backsplash, which has hues of lavender. This colour scheme turned out absolutely gorgeous! Such amazing bursts of rich jewel tones, so festive and cheerful! I couldn’t not have been more pleased with the end result, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did designing it.
